Ainsa Hepburn received her legal training from the University of the West indies (Cave Hill Campus), the University of Ottawa and the Eugene Dupuch Law School. Prior to law school, Ainsa obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Economics from Dalhousie University. She was called to the Bar of The Bahamas in 2018 and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2022.
While completing her legal training she developed a passion for legal aid and assisting people in need and was awarded the most outstanding student award in that component. Currently in her free time, she is a volunteer lawyer for Access Pro Bono Society of BC for their Residential Tenancy and Employment Standards Tribunal Program.
When she is not practicing law, Ainsa enjoys volunteering within her community. She is a Director for a non profit organization called Black Women Connect Vancouver. She also loves travelling, which includes going back to The Bahamas every Christmas, exercising, shopping, and binge watching various television shows.
